The rooms felt homey and comfortable, and the views west toward Kelowna were lovely. We found this place in a last-minute scramble and were pleasantly surprised by the reasonable rates. We couldn't use the hot tub or BBQ, so we'll have to come back. It's a quiet sort of place, probably not the best fit if you're hoping to make noise. It's also a bit out of town, so bring whatever you need.

My husband booked this as a birthday treat for my 65th, hoping for a nice spot outside downtown. I was trying not to cry when I saw it. The place felt like a college dorm, with a filthy, overly soft armchair, a tiny picture tucked in a corner, and the cheapest little bedside lamps. The bathroom was extremely basic, just an old acrylic shower, and the bed was soft and mushy too. There were a couple of plastic chairs outside, but they looked like they had ten years of grime on them. Thank goodness we were only staying one night. Maybe it's meant for kids going skiing or something. I hope this helps other travelers know what to expect.

Five days before our trip, after we'd booked through Expedia about two months earlier, we got a message saying Acker Vacation Homes & Suites (1348595) couldn't host us because they'd overbooked and our room wasn't available. I thought overbooking was just an airline thing. Apparently not.

The owner was friendly, and our room was both clean and really comfortable. We stayed near the end of summer and had a very nice time here.
