Kelowna Bed & Breakfast (CHATHAM HOUSE)

The room was spacious and nice, but I didn’t enjoy sharing the space with the owner because there wasn’t much privacy. Breakfast was cooked at a set time, and by then it was cold.

The backyard at Chatham House was a peaceful spot to unwind. There was comfortable seating, lovely scenery, and a charming atmosphere. Terra, our host, was warm and accommodating, and her recommendations and help made us feel looked after. Breakfast each morning was another highlight, with fresh dishes and plenty of variety. The food’s flavors and attention to detail were wonderful.

A lovely find in Kelowna BC. Chatham House brought back the kind of hospitality that’s been missing. Our host went over the house guidelines, which help keep things quiet in the evenings. We chose not to use all the amenities. Breakfast is served at 8:30, and the photo here is of ours. The coffee was great. The walk to the waterfront took a while, but it was worth it because we went to a dining spot our host had recommended. If you’re making your own coffee in the morning, get all the instructions first. Janet, our virtual concierge, might have come from “The Good Place”.

Chatham House is a new favourite, and we’d happily come back again and again. The property is beautifully kept, with private parking beside the lovely entrance. Rooms have their own distinct look, and the owners and staff are both professional and friendly. Every morning we had a different breakfast with fresh coffee, tea, and juice. It all tasted great. Out back, the courtyard stays cool even on hot summer days and is peaceful and well manicured. You can read beside the pond, relax in the hot tub, or spend time with good company. Downtown is only five minutes away when you’re after something livelier.
