My stay was a total disappointment, and I won’t return. The room was dirty, the furniture old, and it looked nothing like the photos. Staff were unfriendly and no help at all. Some of my belongings went missing, and when I reported it, they acted as if it wasn’t their problem. I never felt safe or respected. The place smelled bad, the noise was horrible, and the Wi-Fi didn’t work. For what they charge, that’s completely unacceptable. I’d recommend staying somewhere else.

I paid 170 bucks and am asking for some money back. There was dirt everywhere, the lock had been ripped off the door, and the room didn’t even have a shower curtain. The toilet was plugged, and a piece of the curtain was missing. All night I could hear traffic and people selling drugs. I’d advise sleeping in your vehicle before staying here.

DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE. I’d give it a negative rating if I could. I didn’t feel it was safe. Some rooms were given to homeless people, who shouted at guests, and I experienced this myself. There was no room service, the blinds or curtains weren’t proper, the bathroom fixtures were broken, and the AC didn’t work. Each time we came back, the room smelled of smoke, though I don’t know where it was coming from. The photos look amazing, but none of the pools are in service. I found what looked like a good deal on Agoda, but it seems like a scam. This place is worth ZERO$. Please don’t book it.

I’m grateful that there are motels like this for people who can’t afford a $350 a night hotel. I’ve been living here for over a month, and the rooms are large for the price. The kitchenette has the basics for cooking, and the cleaners regularly ask if you need anything or want something cleaned. My situation is long term and off season, so it’s a bit different, but they clean well each week. From what I’ve seen, they do a full day of deep cleaning between guests. This isn’t a $350 a night hotel, and at a third or quarter of the cost, I don’t expect that level of updating or upkeep. It’s a place to sleep, cook, and eat. Hotels with a kitchenette and stove are astronomically expensive. It’s also well situated if you’re here for a conference, looking for work or a rental, or on vacation and would rather spend money making memories than on a room you’ll leave empty most days. I’ve noticed a lot of one star reviews, and wanted to respond to some comments. During the off season, the motel opens its doors to help house people who are unhoused. They include people from shelters and people like me, who ran into hard times during cold weather and did what we could to find affordable housing. We’re now in that “sit and wait” period of the “game.” I haven’t seen anyone simply walk in off the street and get housed, and certainly not for free. I have met people who aren’t mainstream wealthy, including a nice man who stays safe in a motel during cold weather and lives in a cool camper on his truck when it’s warm. Some people live in RVs or travel in them in warmer weather. Some women are leaving abuse and need temporary lodging over the colder months. I was kicked out of the house after my dad had a heart attack because he didn’t want the stress of having his disabled daughter and granddaughter in his home. I’m grateful they offer off season prices and take in people who need a place over winter. People here know at least two languages fluently. Giving fewer stars because someone has an accent you can’t understand or because conversation is difficult is, in my opinion, a poor choice. I suck at accents, but I’ve managed to get my needs across just fine. Sometimes I have to ask someone to repeat themselves, but that says more about my ear for languages and accents than about their fluency in English as a second language. I also want to say that they care. Not every culture expresses itself the same way we do. When my dad died just a few weeks ago, a wonderful lady working here cried with me, consoled me, and even gave me a hug.

We spent a week here on vacation and had a great time. I’ve stayed in fancier hotels, but this one has a lovely back patio for everyone to enjoy. The rooms could use some updating, and it would’ve been nice if the pool had been open during the hot weather. Still, it worked for what we needed, which was a place to sleep.
