This felt like a dorm, with noise going on constantly. There were footsteps from the room above all night, and students seemed to come and go at all hours without being quiet. They put me next to the laundry room and elevator, which I assume are kept for guests rather than residents. The kitchenette was advertised, but there were no utensils, cups, or anything else to use with it. Travelers aren't carrying a whole set of dishes, so don't call it a full kitchenette without supplying the basics. I booked through Expedia with the pet-friendly filter, and had no problem walking my dog in when I arrived. Around 11:30, I asked reception if I could switch rooms because the people above me were so loud I couldn't sleep. I asked not to be near the elevators, since I didn't want my dog barking. The receptionist said it wasn't a pet-friendly hotel and that she had to tell her manager. We went back and forth, and I asked if I had to leave right then. I said I'd be happy to go if I could get a refund, but she said Expedia would have to handle that. I went back to my room unsure whether someone would come ask me to leave. The upstairs noise didn't stop, and we left at 4 am. I was also worried I might be woken up and told to leave. One of the worst stays I've had. Spend an extra $50 and stay at a real hotel.

I booked seven nights and regret it. The microwave in my room didn't work, the bathroom smelled like sewer, and there was no sound insulation. Students partied all night, waking me 2-3 times and making sleep impossible. I asked to change rooms, but the front desk didn't get one for me for at least two days because they said they were too busy. Getting a parking permit meant standing in line for 45 minutes. The replacement room faced a roof with no view. The rooms have kitchens but no utensils, dish soap, or cooking essentials, so travelers have to bring everything themselves. The manager gave me no compensation when I asked. Never booking here again. Waste of money!

It cost $400 for one night, and the entrance was difficult to find. No one answered the front desk phone or the message I left, even two days later. The young man at the desk was condescending when I asked for two keys for a double occupancy room, then walked me out to activate my own key as if scolding a child. The same employee was very rude to my boyfriend when he asked for an extra pillow, just three total for the room. There was no TV or coffee maker. I should have checked the website, but I wasn't expecting to have to look for basic items. Sasha, who helped me check out, was the only saving grace. She was kind and helpful.

The property was immaculate, check-in was world-class, and my room was spotless and very comfortable. I appreciated the full fridge and freezer and the stove for a short-term stay. The price is unbeatable, and together with the service, it made for a solid 5-star experience. If I return to Kelowna without my dog, this is where I'll look to stay. I booked through Expedia thinking it was pet-friendly, checked in without my dog, then brought the dog inside later. The next morning, Itoro handled the issue with polite firmness and such professionalism that I was profoundly impressed. She asked me to check out instead of demanding it, and was gracious throughout. I sensed I'd put her in a difficult position, perhaps because she felt responsible for my mistake. I want her superiors to know what a fantastic front-line representative she is. Thank you, Itoro, for being so gracious and professional. I truly appreciate you!

This is a college dormitory. The kitchenette doesn't come with kitchenware, tableware, cookware, a dish rack, or dish soap, so it's useless as provided. They do offer disposable compostable plates and cutlery, but no bowls. Expect to pack your own supplies or buy them at the nearby grocery store.
