It’s a shame this place is out of the way. The food and service are great, and it’s the best accommodation in town.

After a long drive, we were greeted so warmly. We had an excellent meal at the restaurant, and I’d recommend the house specialty, Bulgogi.

Really friendly staff and I love the complimentary breakfast. It’s a great motel for the price. My only two gripes are the odd smell in the hallway and rooms, and how long the shower took to heat up, about 15 minutes.

We picked this place because there aren’t many other options around, unfortunately. We’d booked and confirmed three Queen rooms by phone, but got one Queen and two rooms with double beds. The host didn’t understand why we weren’t pleased with what they called the “more expensive rooms.” Who wants to sleep in a double bed? They offered no compensation for the mix-up. The rooms were reasonably clean, but the building is worn and needs upgrades. Paint was coming off the walls onto the bath towels, a deadbolt came off one door when opened, and a roof leak in the main floor hallway greeted us at check-in. The TV worked in only two of our three rooms; the one in the last room wouldn’t even turn on. There’s no working ice machine, so the bar server had to go to the restaurant for ice. Mattresses were uncomfortable and slid around on their platforms. At least the mini fridges seemed to work in all three rooms. The staff seem to be just three people handling check-in, the bar, cleaning, and everything else. They’re trying, but the property needs money put into it. Breakfast is toast, cereal, coffee, juice, and hard boiled eggs. A bowl of apples or bananas would’ve been a nice addition.
