TownePlace Suites by Marriott Kincardine

We've stayed at this hotel a few times over the last four years, but we won't be back. The front desk employee wouldn't give us our room key because the card used to pay belonged to my grandfather, even though we had the card with us and the room was under our name. He was rude and unprofessional. When people walked by, he changed his manner and acted like we were being unreasonable. The neighboring hotel treated us better and gave us a discount after we explained what had happened. I'd give this place negative stars if I could.

We had a pleasant one night stay. The place was clean and well maintained, breakfast was good, and the service was excellent. Camille made check-in smooth and welcoming, and helped us very well. Highly recommended!

As a retired hospitality professional, I'd recommend this property. We stayed one night on Wednesday, Sept 24th. The rooms are oversized, the property is in good shape, and the front desk staff were engaging. They laughed with us about being the last guests to check in that evening, explained the services, and helped us find dinner delivery. They'd noted my “no feather pillows” profile request and taken care of it. They missed acknowledging my “Gold” membership. Still, it was nice to be thanked when I brought the luggage cart back to the lobby, and they told us to call if we needed anything. The whole experience was quite different from our stay at the TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Sudbury. I also noticed the BBQs were covered on the patio and the chair cushions put away. Thanks for the care and passion you show for the property and service.

There was plenty of parking, and the pool and gym were great amenities. Reception staff could do better. A few additions could improve the guest experience: more dishwasher pods and dishwashing equipment, a waffle machine and halal options to give breakfast more variety.
