Linda made a stressful night much easier. We were stranded by the storm while traveling from Unity to Rosetown, and after other hotels couldn’t fit us into a two-bed room or quoted awful prices, she had a reasonably priced room ready and told us to come by in an hour. The place was cozy, clean, and well kept. Her husband spent hours clearing the lot with a snow blower and bobcat so guests could get around in the weather. When we found out the highway home was closed, Linda told me we could sort out checkout as things unfolded, which really put me at ease. They’re both so kind and friendly, and I could’ve talked with her for hours. I hope not to get storm-stayed again, but Arbour Ridge would be my first choice. Thank you, Linda and your husband, whose name I’m sorry I didn’t get.

A comfortable, pleasant spot for the night. The hotel looked freshly refurbished and very clean, and I loved seeing the Halloween decorations a week before the holiday. I had trouble finding basic information, though. I don’t think there was wifi, and there didn’t seem to be breakfast, but nobody mentioned that at the desk and there was nothing in the room. I couldn’t be bothered calling down to ask. In my experience, small local motels can be a little unusual, and the staff felt a bit that way too.

I’m going to avoid renting a room here, even though I do stay in motels from time to time. Management clearly doesn’t like oilfield people, which seems like a poor attitude for an oilfield town. I planned to use the Laundromat, but the signs made it clear my business wasn’t wanted. I was legally parked on a public street near the motel when they taped a sign to one of my trucks telling me not to park there. They didn’t speak to me directly, even though I was in the truck ahead of the one they were putting signs on, talking to my driver. I’d rather sleep on the ground than stay somewhere with that attitude toward potential customers.

I’m in the Kindersley area for work often, and this is where I stay each time. The owners are great, and the rooms are very clean with really comfortable beds. Highly recommend.

The room was beautiful, modern, and super clean, and the beds were comfortable. Staff were very friendly, and the Covid protocols were excellent. There are plenty of restaurants and other services nearby. I’d highly recommend this hotel.
