My mom stayed here last week. The room was average and grungy, though the location is a plus. The biggest concern was that the sidewalks hadn't been salted, making the walk to her room hazardous, especially for a senior. There was also a large stain on the chair that looked like it might be from bodily fluids.

We enjoyed having coffee on the covered balcony in the morning. Our king suite was very clean, with a comfortable bed and a great shower. It could use a few glasses and some cutlery.

It was a little out of the way, but the lake view and setting were just what we wanted. The room was cozy and air conditioned, with a comfortable bed, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Having a freezer was great, too. The duvet cover wasn't quite pristine, which was my only small complaint, but for the price I was completely satisfied. It cost significantly less than other places around, and I'd stay again in a heartbeat.

I've never stayed somewhere this dirty. The sheets hadn't been washed, and the whole place felt gross. I'm not usually picky and don't tend to leave reviews, but this was BAD. I wouldn't stay here.

I stayed here on a Saturday night while dropping my son back off at RMC. For $159 a night, I expected better upkeep. The baseboards were broken and dirty, the AC was caked in dirt and dust so I couldn't use it, and the baseboard heater was completely wrecked even though it wasn't in use. The pillowcases were disgusting, and there was mold in the bathroom along with cobwebs and spider webs. I mentioned it to the "front desk" at checkout and got a confused look and an "oh, ok." Also, a train passes every two hours, including at night. A quick heads-up would have been nice. A bit of basic maintenance would go a long way.
