We had the King Suite for Valentine's Day weekend, and it was private and comfortable. It sits up a flight of steep, narrow stairs, so guests with mobility challenges may want to choose another room. Summer, the hosts' daughter, handled breakfast and answered our questions. The breakfasts were delicious, especially the omelettes and toast with strawberry preserves, and she also suggested some local restaurants. There are only two guest rooms. Since it was the off season, we had the place to ourselves and could relax in the living room, almost like having our own home for a few days. Guests can use the kitchenette, which has a full-sized fridge, microwave, Keurig with several creamers available all day, and an electric kettle for tea. The inn is right at Mill and Division Street, an easy walk from Downtown Kingsville and a convenient drive to Pelee National Park and other attractions. One tip: we drove past twice because the property looks like an ordinary yellow house from outside. Guest parking is on Mill Street, and the entrance is around front on Division. The outside is unassuming, but inside it's cute and comfortable.

We were visiting from Detroit and spent one night in this adorable house. The hosts were so sweet, and it was a wonderful stay. The room was clean, the bed super comfortable, and breakfast was solid. Great location within walking distance of downtown kingsville, and the pool was a bonus!

We were lucky that Scott and Carol were out of town during our stay, but they let us stay anyway, apparently a first for them. They made sure we had everything for continental breakfast the next morning. The historic home has been nicely updated with the comforts you need, and it was clean, well appointed, and private, with very comfortable beds. We walked to downtown restaurants for a fabulous dinner, then returned for wine and conversation on the backyard deck. It's a great location near downtown. We stayed with another couple on our first visit to Canada, and I'm so glad we found this little gem. I loved the area and would definitely stay at Hellemsfield again if I return.

My girlfriend and I were in town visiting family over St. Valentine's day this year and stayed at Hellemsfield Inn. The room was cozy and very clean. Scott and Carol checked with us each day about how we'd like breakfast made the next morning. It was a really pleasant stay, and we'd happily return.

Carol and Scott are lovely hosts. The rooms are nice and very clean, and there's a good range of breakfast options.
