This place had serious Bates motel vibes. I called first and was told by the husband that they had one room in the smoking section. At the office, nobody answered my knock, so I had to call down the stairs to get someone. The woman came up fidgeting, asked how many people, and when I said one, immediately told me they were full. I mentioned what her husband had said, and she replied that he was mistaken, they had no smoking section, and I’d have to call her the next day if I wanted to stay. Pretty crazy, and rude.

The service felt strange and awkward, almost like something out of a horror movie. It wasn’t clean, and the towels were different colors. There were so many rules that the stay felt uncomfortable, even bringing in a box of beer seemed weird. Not a good experience.

We were supposed to move into a room on Saturday, but I couldn’t get through when I called. The message said the number was unavailable, and later the voicemail message said that service was no longer available either. Then this morning the guy called and said we could have a room by tonight, even though we’d expected to move in Saturday. He said the current occupant was supposed to be kicked out because the guy had come up with the money, then said he hadn’t. We were waiting for him to come back, and all we could smell around there was pot. Something seemed off.

Absolutely the worst place to spend your money. I caught the female owner peeping through my window. If you don’t answer when she knocks, she’ll use her keys to open your door anyway. Just horrible. Never come here.
