B&B Hillhouse

The garden, little stand of trees, and gazebo out back were lovely, and we could use the downstairs living room whenever we wanted. Our room had a small en suite shower room, and the bed was comfortable. It was spotless, with everything we needed, including a small fridge shared with other guests and coffee available around the clock. Louise and Gilles were warm, personable hosts who speak French and English fluently. Scheduling was well organized. The B&B is in a historic home in Lac Brome, and Gilles's gourmet breakfasts were the highlight. He could have his own restaurant. Highly recommended.

Every breakfast was different, wholesome, and filling. Louise and Gilles welcomed us so warmly that we felt like family. Their tips helped us find great places to visit and excellent food. Couldn't have asked for better.

Margaret’s Suite had everything we needed, and finding wine and an anniversary card there was a lovely surprise. We stayed at Hillhouse B&B for two nights and had a great time. Louise greeted us and made us feel at home right away. Talking with her was a pleasure, and her suggestions for places to eat and visit were all ones we loved. The breakfasts were delicious too. The house was spotless and beautifully decorated, with a lot of positive energy, and the location worked perfectly for exploring the Eastern Townships. We highly recommend Hillhouse and will return when we're in the area. Louise and Gilles, thank you for making our stay memorable!

Knowlton is a great base for spending a few days. Louise and Gilles were warm, friendly hosts who made it feel like a home away from home, and the breakfasts were spectacular.
