A really comfortable, well-kept place with everything we needed for a family weekend away. Our 3-year old had a great time by the water, throwing stones, and also loved the hammock, trampoline, and roasting marshmallows by the fire. A perfect weekend in the country.

We arrived after a five-hour drive with two young children and two small dogs, only to find that the cleaning hadn't been done. The owner confirmed it had gone undone for over four days. There were partly sealed garbage bags and beer cartons by the door, the beds weren't made and the sheets hadn't been washed, and the floors were filthy, among other things. What a nasty surprise. The owner sent a cleaner, but there was so much to do that we were thankfully able to cancel and find another chalet in the area. The owner came across as rather arrogant. I don't recommend it.

The chalet itself is very nice, but the service is incredibly smelly. There was ice everywhere when we arrived and no snow removal, and I fell and hurt myself before I even got inside. The hot tub wasn't working properly either. They kept half my deposit for very shady reasons, like claiming I took too much newspaper. I don't recommend it.

The nearby stream makes a really soothing sound, and the lake is only steps away. The chalet also has a beautiful, large outdoor deck, our favorite feature. It has lots of potential.

Beautiful chalet, with a lovely stream nearby and lake access just a one-minute walk away. My daughter loves the trampoline!
