Dawn was so welcoming and went out of her way to make our stay feel special. Since an upgraded room was free, she moved us into it at no extra cost. The breakfast was delicious too. I’d definitely stay here again if I’m in Wakefield.

Dawn checked in by text to make sure we were comfortable, and let us set the room temperature to whatever suited us. She also gave us the upgraded room since it wasn’t being used, and made a lovely homemade breakfast herself. She really made us feel at home. Mon Petit Chum is a special B&B, and I’d happily recommend it to anyone visiting Wakefield.

The location made it easy to explore so much of Wakefield on foot, and Dawn was flexible, easy to reach, and full of local knowledge. She went above and beyond throughout our stay, including making an incredible breakfast that worked with my gluten intolerance. We loved it and can’t wait to come back.

We stayed a few nights at Auberge de Mon Petit Chum, and Dawn made the visit feel special. She pointed us to a great lunch spot in Chelsea, suggested restaurants and bars, and told us about an outdoor music performance at Fairbairn House amphitheatre that we really enjoyed. Breakfast arrived on our deck, which was lovely to eat outside. Our room was spacious and open, but still had enough separation for my friend and me to have privacy. There were thoughtful touches everywhere, including coffee, tea, milk, cream, and local dark chocolates on the pillows. Just wonderful.

Dawn welcomed us like old friends and paid such close attention to our comfort. The place had everything we needed, was clean and comfortable, and even the breakfast was exceptional.
