The owners clearly have experience, and the place was very clean. We enjoyed our stay and found it to be a cute, quiet spot to unwind. Just wanted to share a couple of things that might help future guests. The hot tub was one of our main reasons for choosing this place, but the website photos made it look larger than it was. It was an oval tub for two, which was fine, just not what we expected. Also, there weren’t any chairs or a table for dining. We’d hoped to sit out on the patio, but the only seating was the indoor couch. We asked about chairs and were told they weren’t available because of the season, so bring your own if that matters to you.

The property is very pretty and within walking distance of restaurants. The rooms were spotless, and the owners were friendly and gave us clear directions for using the hot tub. We didn’t have to wait at all. We really enjoyed our visit and will be back soon.

Wakefield is an amazing little town right by the river, and the hostess was nice. The rooms had everything needed to be self-contained, plus there’s an outdoor spa. Just be aware, the mosquitoes are really bad.

We had a great little vacation here. The place was beautiful and immaculately clean, and the private hot tub looks out over the forest. It’s clear the owners take pride in making sure guests have a lovely stay. Local amenities are within walking distance too. We’ll definitely return!

We’ll definitely book another visit soon. The staff were friendly and helpful from booking all the way through arrival, the quick tour, and checkout, including when we left a phone behind. The room was cute, quiet, clean, and fully stocked, with a really comfortable bed. The bathroom was bright and clean too. The back deck and yard were a nice extra, and the hot tub was clean, set to 103, and surrounded by peaceful nature. Thanks for a lovely stay!
