Auberge Krön

We came here for our anniversary and had such a relaxing time. The house feels warm and homey, with lots to do: sit outside and take in the view, use the jacuzzi, hang out by the fire in the common area, spend time in the kitchen or on the big balcony, or browse the books and board games. It really feels like a hug. Luc and Anne were lovely hosts. They made us feel like old friends, communicated well, and even left us a letter for our anniversary along with a bottle of their own Maple syrup. Breakfast was included and there were plenty of delicious options. Our room was spacious, clean, and thoughtfully set up with everything we could need. The jacuzzi and sauna were wonderful too. At check-in, guests choose a time, and each booking gets an hour to use them privately. The house sits on a hill in Wakefield, about 45 minutes from Ottawa, with a lovely nature view. Grocery stores, cafés, and restaurants are nearby, and we could drive around to pick up anything we needed. A perfect getaway with loved ones, friends, or family. Thanks for being part of our milestone and for such a peaceful stay. We’ll remember it.

Luc and Anne made us feel completely at home, and their care and attention to detail really stood out. They had snacks available during the day, and in the evening got the hot tub, sauna, and fire going for us. Breakfast was delicious and complimentary each morning. The BnB itself is beautiful, perched on a scenic hill overlooking all of Wakefield. Everything about the accommodations impressed us. We’d recommend it to anyone wanting a peaceful retreat where the hosts take care of everything. Thanks for a wonderful stay, we’ll be back!

The views were fantastic, and the place felt warm, peaceful, and quiet. The hosts were lovely and accommodating, and breakfast was amazing. We especially loved the spa and sauna in mid October. A truly blissful stay.
