Breakfast was a real highlight, lots to choose from and everything was generous and delicious. I’d happily stay again. I’m still puzzled by the low ratings. The hotel is one of the best designed places I’ve stayed in, and the room had a fridge, microwave, TV, air conditioning, a comfortable table and chairs, plus a little triangular shelf by the bathtub. Being able to park right outside the room made bringing things in easy. The hot tub area was comfortable and thoughtfully set up, and the front desk staff were warm, with little cookies and drinks on offer. The rooms are in a separate building from reception, which could be inconvenient for some. I was there in April, though, and the weather was mild, so the short walk was no problem. There’s a trail nearby, but it hadn’t all melted yet. I really think this place deserves at least a 4.4+ rating, and I’d definitely come back.

The complimentary breakfast was easily the best part. There’s plenty for picky eaters and little ones, and the food was fresh and warm or hot. The waffle station gets messy, but the waffles taste good. It’s a handy start before a long road trip or a day on the mountain. The hotel is nicely maintained and has a pleasant cabin feel. Our room looked great and was in very good shape, and the front desk staff were kind and polite when helping us find it. Parking was limited, though we managed. Most restaurants and grocery stores are within walking distance, which is convenient. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

Those boot dryers in the room were the icing on the cake after a day skiing. The beds were comfortable too, and breakfast was just right. We had a fantastic stay at Mountaineer Lodge. Roldan welcomed us and checked us into a beautiful room, and the service was outstanding. We wouldn’t hesitate to book here again.

Breakfast was included and absolutely lovely, a great start to the day. We stayed at Mountaineering Lodge for one night and had a wonderful time. The room was comfortable, the atmosphere felt welcoming, and everything seemed well cared for. We’d happily recommend it to others.

The hot tub and steam room were clean and modern, and neither was too busy during winter ski season. Staff were friendly, and parking on site was easy. We loved our two nights here. The King Deluxe room seemed recently renovated, with a really comfortable bed and useful touches like a safety box and boot dryer. Breakfast was generous compared with other North American places we’ve visited in a similar price range. There were bagels, waffles, hot plates, and even smoked salmon, which was a nice treat. A great hotel if you’re skiing or exploring the area.
