Best Western Plus Langley Inn

The hot tub was enjoyable, though its jets should be adjusted so water doesn't splash onto the deck. I was here for one night on a business trip, and the room was clean and quiet. The little breakfast room on the second floor is basically grab-and-go, which worked for me. Nothing much to complain about, and I'd recommend it for business travel.

Gurleen listened kindly when I recently shared worries about my brother's health, even though I know she was busy. I've had the same caring experience with the other front desk staff, and I'm grateful to all of them. The housekeeping team is kind too, and the rooms are spotless. Every stay here has been pleasant, and I often see the maintenance person working, which seems like a good sign that the property is well looked after.

The room surprised me in a good way: there was a separate den, a separate bedroom, and a lovely little bathroom that was absolutely spotless. The price was very fair, and I was impressed with the whole stay. I arrived at the Best Western Langley at the last minute and was warmly greeted by the front office agent, who offered a discount without my asking. She was also mindful that I was travelling alone as a woman. There was a hockey team staying for a tournament, but the hotel was quiet and the team was respectful. I'd recommend the property and stay again when I return.

The noise made my last stay very disappointing. Kids in large groups were running and stomping through the halls at night, slamming doors and yelling, and there was garbage and clothing left around the pool area that hadn't been cleared first thing in the morning. I understand tournaments bring noise, but groups should be reminded that sound carries and other guests are paying to stay for different reasons. Staff or security could walk the halls now and then, and the pool and gym should be clean before opening. Kids who need to race around and burn off energy might be better off somewhere they can be as loud as they want, like a rented house. I used to choose this hotel because it's near where I visit, the rooms are clean, and the breakfast and price are okay, but I won't be staying anymore unless staff and management address this.
