The location is excellent for the metro, with good restaurants and an event center nearby. I was staying for work in a corner King room, which was quite nice and had good views. The materials were high quality, and compared with similar budget hotels in Canada, it seemed recently renovated. I couldn't hear noise from the ground floor bars or restaurants at all. City construction outside did wake me, though there wasn't much the hotel could do about that. Service was excellent. Thanks to Maylane Pham and Sheena Bennett for their great help. I'll stay here again and recommend it to coworkers. Very satisfied.

The hotel itself is nice, but I've never had such poor customer service. There wasn't much transparency in the booking process: the booking link gave a last day to reserve but said nothing about cancellation or directing us to the group booking contract. A week before our stay, I contacted them to cancel the first of our two nights because my husband had a paramedic shift that evening. I was told I'd still be charged the full amount. The sales manager said she'd call me back, but didn't, even after I called again the next week and left a message. On arrival, they marked us as a no show for the previous night, despite my repeated calls to cancel, and said they had to check whether a room was available. Then they tried to charge an early check in fee, even though I was being charged for the night before. I won't stay at a Marriott again or recommend it for group bookings.

Montreal's main sights were easy to reach, even with heavy city traffic, and there were great amenities around the hotel. I recently spent a weekend in Montreal with my family, and this proved to be an excellent choice. The staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and always willing to help.

Modern, clean, and comfortable, this hotel worked well for a short stay. My main gripe was the bed. Each time it was made, the sheets still didn't fit properly, leaving the duvet and mattress protector exposed. I already dislike how many hotels here use two flat sheets instead of a duvet cover, but even that setup wasn't done right. Feeling the duvet and protector under the sheets was icky and uncomfortable. I also assume the kettles were removed from the rooms to save money. It would be nice to make tea in your room instead of having to go to reception for one.
