The owner was very attentive, and the garden was large. This is a shared holiday rental, with bedrooms upstairs and the kitchen and living room downstairs. The main road is below, but traffic is light and it was quiet. Shared accommodation may not suit everyone, but we loved it.

Our host welcomed us warmly and gave us great suggestions for things to do nearby. The cottage itself was beautiful, and the kids especially loved the outdoor play equipment. We'd definitely come back.

The welcome was so warm, and the advice about things to do locally, especially food, was excellent. It's a family home from the 1940s with all the modern amenities you'd need, and a nice place to chat with other travelers.
