It's a reasonable rate for a clean room with breakfast, and a nice base for exploring the eastern townships. The inn sits just outside Magog, up high with a lovely view of lake Magog. My room was small, about 17 square metres, but had what I needed: a kitchenette with fridge, coffee, microwave and dishes for two. The modern decor felt comfortable, with extra pillows, a blanket, hooks and a side table. The bed was comfortable. My one suggestion is a brighter reading light. The continental breakfast included coffee or tea, toast or a bagel, cereal or yogurt, a boiled egg and fruit.

A big thank you to our hostess and server Mlle. Kim, who was helpful and attentive throughout and very professional. We had a top-tier experience at this Auberge. The room was tiny, but had everything we needed for an overnight trip. The lake view was spectacular, and dining outside on the patio was perfect. Recommend 100%!

The bistro where breakfast was served looked gorgeous, and the restaurant patio had a lovely view. The included continental breakfast was good, and the price felt like great value. Everything was clean and accommodating, and the check-in process was clear and easy. I couldn't find the checkout time anywhere. The bed was comfortable, though the bottom sheet kept slipping off. The bathroom was clean, but the shower stayed wet without a fan. I'd stay again and recommend it.

The room was cozy and intimate, and the views outside were gorgeous. We'd definitely stay again. When the bistro was closed for a private event, the manager went above and beyond to help us. She brought us a delicious raclette to have in our room and checked on us several times to see if we needed anything.

I really enjoyed my stay. The place was beautiful, super quiet and relaxing, and the staff were amazing, friendly and kind. We got the room with a double bed and sofa bed, which worked well. The bed was really comfy. The rooms are small, though, and probably not ideal if you plan to spend all your time in the room. We had lots of activities planned, so that was fine. One thing to know is that you can't control the room temperature. I was cold most of the time, so I'd bring an extra blanket if you get cold easily. We wanted to try the breakfast boxes, but what we got was frozen in aluminum to heat in the microwave. We were told it had been tested, but after two minutes it started to smell awful. The crepe was still frozen, so we stopped heating it and returned it. It didn't seem safe to us, and the staff were understanding when we brought it back. The place still feels new, so some things may change. I also thought it was odd that nobody asked for ID when I picked up the room, either for me or the person with me. There was no deadbolt or do-not-disturb sign on the door, which seems important for safety and so staff know if someone is in the room. One staff member knocked once and then walked in while we were watching TV. She was more startled than we were, but it could have been avoided. The train passes around 2am and you can hear its horn. That's out of their control, and it wasn't too bad, but worth knowing.
