What a lovely place to unwind, with a house that feels both soulful and comfortable and has great design. There’s a magical mix of sunset views, stars overhead, and that island wind. Food lovers have plenty to enjoy, whether they like restaurants or cooking at home. For daytime plans, there are beautiful hikes, beach walks, art shops, books, radio, and bingo prep. I only wish we could have stayed longer. If you get the chance, go!

We loved the cozy, beautiful house and its gorgeous setting. The beds were really comfortable, and the kitchen has everything you need. Our hosts were kind and so helpful. We had a great time as a family and highly recommend visiting the magdalen islands and staying at La Blanche!

Blanche de l'Ouest made a great home base for exploring the islands. The house is thoughtfully laid out and nicely designed, and the host was helpful and very easy to reach. We had a great stay.

In May we stayed at Blanche de l’Ouest and would gladly recommend it. The place has been renovated beautifully, and it’s well furnished. You can walk to the sea, drive a short way to amenities, and look straight toward the sunset. A local family of foxes even came by every day or so to say hello. Vincent and Jan-Nicolas were warm, generous, and fun to spend time with. They pointed out local spots, invited us over for lobster, and later brought us crab. We’ll definitely return.

The ocean view from both the living room and bedroom windows was stunning, and the bed was so comfortable. The house is well located, with beautiful scenery nearby. Vincent & Nicolas were friendly owners and quick, efficient communicators. Really enjoyed our time at Blanche de l'Ouest, and I highly recommend it. Thank you!
