The quiet was what really stood out, no parties or loud guests, just peace. Watching the sunset and sunrise over the ocean was perfection, and the beach was only a short walk away. My son and I had a little getaway last weekend and spent two nights here. It's hard to judge from photos, but I was very pleased with the cottage and how well kept the landscaping was. The cottage was in great shape, with a spotless kitchen, dishes, fridge, stove, and oven. The bathroom and rooms were very clean too, you can tell they take care of the place. The ocean view was breathtaking. I'd definitely stay here again.

We used the cottage as a base for exploring CBI, and it worked perfectly. Colin was a great host and made sure we had what we needed. Small, tidy, clean, and warm when the weather turned blustery.

The cottages have lovely views and come with everything you need, including a full kitchen, BBQ, showers, and heat. There are fans for warmer weather, though the Wi-Fi can be patchy. You can also get down to a beautiful beach.

We were impressed with Lighthouse Cottages and would come back. The cottages look out over the ocean and Port Hood Island, with nothing blocking the view, and all the staff we met were helpful and pleasant. They also mailed back a set of car keys we left behind, which we really appreciated. We had booked a two-bedroom cottage for two nights with another couple. There was no hot water on our first morning, but it was fixed right away and we were moved to a bigger, more spacious unit. Both places were beautiful, and the beds in each were especially comfortable. We plan to return next year to cycle the Celtic Trail again.

We came across this lovely spot while driving and decided to book a cottage. The owner and his family made us feel very welcome. Our place was cozy and clean, with a beautiful view, and the beach was gorgeous. The water was just the right temperature. I'd happily recommend it.
