Cottage #1 was clean, airy, and well equipped, with a good-sized deck in a sunny spot where we could enjoy the ocean view. The cottage layout also gave us lots of privacy and quiet. We had a fabulous two-night stay at this beautiful property, with gorgeous ocean views and stunning sunsets. The owners were friendly and quick to respond to requests. So relaxing!

The three cottages are right by the beach, each with a little deck facing the water. They're nicely decorated, very well kept, clean, and comfortable. It's a relaxing vacation spot, with cooking or BBQ facilities, and we'd have stayed longer if we had the time. The owner was very friendly and attentive to the details of the service.

The birds along the shore kept me entertained for ages as a photographer, and the coastline and private beach around the cottages made a peaceful setting. We stayed two days in one of the cottages, but I'd have made the trip much longer if I could do it again. It's a great quiet getaway for a solo traveler, couple, or small family. The cottage was clean, simple, and light, and everything was thought through, which is quite exceptional on "the island". With sunsets, curtains moving in the breeze, and waves rolling onto the shore below, it was the first time on our trip we really felt on vacation and could recharge. Breakfast in the main house both mornings was generous, healthy, and beautifully presented in the parlor of their 19th century "arts and crafts" inn. We didn't have supper there, and I regret it because I suspect it would have been incredible. We had all we needed: a functional kitchenette, clean 3-piece bathroom, deck with a BBQ, fresh towels and bedding, and a TV with enough channels. Wi-Fi was intermittent, though a bonus, and worked well if you walked up to the inn. I highly recommend these cottages and feel lucky we found them and met such gracious hosts. Thank you.

Cottage #1 was so clean I couldn't find a speck of dust, even on the window sills. Cleanliness matters a lot to me in a rental. The hosts were kind and sweet, and clearly knew what they were doing. Breakfast was impeccable, fresh, and healthy. To the reviewer who said they served stale bread, maybe they're used to white Wonder Bread and don't realize how many delicious kinds of bread there are. I can't say enough about our stay. Ignore the few negative reviews, I can only assume those guests weren't very desirable to begin with. Thanks for making our last two nights in Nova Scotia incredible and enjoyable! J&K
