Four Points by Sheraton Levis Convention Centre

The friendly, accommodating staff deserve a mention. Rooms are average but decent, and there's a heated pool. The hotel connects to the convention centre, which is useful if you need to be in this area, and it feels like a safe choice. I was disappointed that indoor parking wasn't free for an overnight stay. There aren't any EV chargers in the garage either, and the outdoor lot has only two very slow chargers shared with the Convention Centre. That feels like a missed opportunity for Sheraton/Marriott.

The rooms weren't family or tournament friendly in our experience. Security followed the kids to keep them from disturbing other guests, but never spoke to parents or team staff. If there were concerns, they should have raised them with the adults. Blaming a lack of parental supervision afterward, or using one child's alleged comment to characterize dozens of families, doesn't address that communication failure. We felt the hotel was hostile toward children, and management needs significant improvement. The breakfast was another problem. For $15, the continental selection was just yogurt, croissants, hard-boiled eggs, juice, and coffee. It was supposedly available until 10, but on Friday it closed at 9:20 because the “Chef” said they weren't putting out any more food. Closing before the posted time made the offering misleading. There was also unequal treatment over the final night. One team was allowed to leave early at a reduced fee, while other teams under the same contract were denied that option. Saying it was a “management exception” doesn't change that. The explanation about not having enough staff to clean all the rooms doesn't make the different treatment fair. The response from management kept deflecting responsibility and focused on protecting the hotel's image. Operational inconvenience, other guests' complaints, or staffing issues don't excuse poor communication or inconsistent enforcement. We've stayed at many tournament hotels over the years and haven't encountered this level of unprofessionalism. If you're traveling with a hockey team for a tournament, don't stay here.

For a hotel attached to the convention Centre, I expected more. There's no breakfast included, and the $15 option is only pastries and cereal. The room was clean, though some amenities were missing. The outdoor pool was nice, but the gym needs more equipment and newer treadmills. It's a nice hotel, and it is a Sheraton, but I wasn't disappointed overall.

The staff were especially kind and caring, and breakfast had a good selection with good-quality food. We stayed two nights as a family in a clean, nicely decorated room with two queen beds, and the air conditioning worked great. The hotel is exactly 3 km south of the ferry terminal, so you can take the ferry to Quebec City with or without a car. There's also a beautiful path from the ferry heading west for walking, biking, or running. I wished the room had a safe, but it wasn't a problem. The gym felt too small, had no TVs, and I would have liked a pull-up bar. The hot pool was great, though I wish it were bigger.
