We’ll use this as a stop on future long drives. Being right off the highway makes an overnight break easy, and the room was a nice surprise for the price. It was very clean, with hardwood floors that I appreciated as someone who is neurodivergent and can’t stand rough carpet underfoot. The king room had a huge tub and a comfortable bed, though the pillows were pretty flat. Breakfast had plenty of variety, but every yogurt was a week past its expiry date and had gone bad. The pool area was something new for me: a calm solarium-style space with indoor plants and even birds in big cages. The breakfast and pool areas were absolutely gorgeous.

We got more than we expected for a reasonable price. The room fit five comfortably and had a whirlpool bath, and there was an indoor pool as well. The complimentary breakfast was a nice extra. I’d definitely recommend it to families.

Florence at reception was so kind, and Kathy the big boss went out of her way to help get things sorted. I had to leave earlier than planned because a strong storm was on its way, which caused a problem with my booking. They were patient, helpful, and really understanding. Exceptional customer service.

I won’t be coming back. Breakfast was included, but it was cold and stale, with very few choices. I also couldn’t bring myself to use the hot tub because its dirty-looking color was so off-putting. The worst part was reporting what looked like a bed bug in the dresser, then being accused of smoking while we had our newborn with us. Neither of us smokes. They kept our $150 deposit, and I have no idea why. I felt racism was at play here, especially for people who aren’t from the area.

The staff’s warm, helpful hospitality made the stay enjoyable, and I’d be happy to return. They’re bilingual and very polite, always welcoming us with a smile. Breakfast was nice, and there’s a proper water dispenser, which I appreciated since some hotels expect you to drink from the bathroom tap. There are also two electric car charging stations. A gas station is out front with a convenience store at the station, and it’s not too far from the ferry deck to old québéc.
