They told the tenants nothing about failing to comply with a repair order, so the power could stay on while they kept collecting rent. After they failed to comply, they told everyone to leave within 24 hours. Despicable owners, the worst people I've ever met.

At $70 a night, I'd recommend it. Otherwise, be prepared to drive if you're not flying in and thought the price was reasonable. They've made some updates, including a new heating and air-conditioning unit, dual-flush toilet, bathtub, vanity, fixtures, and an asphalted driveway with tidy landscaping. But nobody's sleeping outside, so the landscaping only goes so far. Inside, the old curtains, tables, and chairs, faded pictures, tacky wall mirrors, and stained carpets made a poor impression. I really dislike vinyl flooring, and this was no exception. The bed sheets weren't fitted and seemed a size too small, or maybe the housekeeper had a bad day. The exhaust fan was loud. The phone was useless, with no instructions or way to call the front desk. The shower drain took ages, leaving me standing in a pool of water. There's no pool, breakfast, or ice machine. We only heard about the complimentary breakfast half an hour before checkout. Follow me for more honest reviews.

We arrived quite late after our flight, and the owners had already communicated the check-in details clearly. The room was clean and a good size. It's also close enough to the airport to get back quickly and pick up a rental car. A great little place, and I'd recommend it.

For $95 CAD a night, this motel felt underrated for what it offered. It's a three-minute drive from the airport, and the customer service was the best. The receptionists were friendly and casual while still being professional. The room was super clean and smelled lovely, which won me over. It had a kitchen with a brand-new stove, a big fridge and freezer, a table and two chairs, a coffeemaker, and a T-fal pan. There was also a foldable extra single bed that was surprisingly comfortable. I loved the vintage decor, especially the handmade curtains with their sweet old-fashioned flower pattern, the little no-smoking sign on the dining table, the furniture, and the Yellow Pages book by the bed. The view from the window was fabulous, and parking was right beside the room, motel style. The bathroom was roomy for an inn and very clean. Breakfast was basic, but I loved staying here. Such a lovely experience!
