Cedar Inn

The room was spotless, they even moved the furniture to clean, and the front desk staff made us feel welcome. It's an easy spot to reach from the highway, with friendly staff and clean rooms. The decor is a bit dated and the outside could use a touch-up, but it was a solid deal for the price. It's not the Ritz, but it's a great hidden gem if you want a comfortable night's sleep.

The room was nice and clean, but the walls are paper thin. People checked in next door just before midnight and were incredibly noisy while the office was closed. The same thing happened again at 5:30 am, with a radio blasting and people singing along. I don't think I'll stay there again.

For $77.70 incl HST, I'd definitely stay again. The staff were super friendly, and the location was perfect for grocery stores and other errands. I was able to cook breakfast in the spacious area in front of the microwave. I only stay in motels where the room has a ground-level entrance. As soon as I drove around the building and noticed a group of rooms at the back, I was sold. There was no traffic noise from the 18 wheelers or anything else on Hwy 16.

I was stuck in Lloydminster in a winter storm and needed a room. The clerk, who was the owner, was awesome and gave me a reduced rate. They even let me stay without a credit card. The room was clean, warm, nice, and comfortable.
