The lobby and restaurant are accessible without stepping outside, even though this is a motel-style place with both inside and outside room doors. We stayed one night while waiting for the late April snow storm to pass. It was quiet, clean, and not busy; the Wi-Fi worked well, the carpet and bathroom were clean, and the shower was good. The lobby restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. I’d stay again and recommend it.

I was stranded in the city from Christmas Day eve until Christmas afternoon after car trouble on the way to Edmonton. Manager Angela went far beyond what I expected: she helped me look for somewhere to get the car checked when everywhere was closed, and she and her husband posted on Facebook to find help. They arranged help for the car and a much later checkout, so I could get back on the road and home in time for Christmas. I’m so grateful to Angela and all the staff for making the stay memorable. My family and I can’t thank you enough 🥹

Being able to park right outside our room was nice. I wasn’t too keen on the room being by the back alley, but we liked the place overall.

I’d book the Royal Hotel in Lloydminster again. The rooms were clean, quiet, and budget-friendly, with solid accommodations for a comfortable stay. I liked having the choice of entering from the inside hall or outside, motel-style. Happy with the stay.

The bed was on the softer side, but for the room rates I’d stay again. It was clean and very quiet, and the room had two doors, one to the outside and one to the hall leading to the main lobby.
