The elevator has been broken every time I’ve visited, so getting up and down five flights of stairs is miserable. The hallways are a mess too, with garbage piled nearly to the ceiling in what I assume is the disposal room. The guest rooms have been stripped of hotel furniture and are now rented as “apartments.” It’s a shame because this used to be a charming little hotel in the heart of downtown London. The location was ideal for downtown events, and it cost much less than the other boutique hotels. Now a place with such a good location has more or less become a multilevel trap house. Just disappointing.

It’s not a hotel or motel anymore. It’s now much-needed affordable housing for homeless people.
