Breakfast was delicious, and the owners and staff were all friendly, helpful, and lovely. Our room had a harbor view, a wonderfully comfortable bed, and a tub with jacuzzi jets. The Louisbourg Harbour Inn was peaceful and beautiful, and less than ten minutes from the Fortress of Louisbourg, which made it a perfect base for our visit. I'd highly recommend it for a trip to the Louisbourg, Nova Scotia area.

Karen was so helpful with our questions about the area, and both hosts, Karen and Parker, quickly sorted out an issue with the hot tub and a light. We stayed in the Chameau room, which was enormous and had a really unusual design. From there we could see the ocean and the Fortress of Louisbourgh in the distance. Breakfast was plentiful and very good.

Karen made breakfast each day especially nice, with delicious food and good conversation and travel tips. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had a lovely ocean view. Such a special place.

Rose was so welcoming and made me feel right at home. The house is beautiful, with lovely furnishings and delicious breakfasts, and it's a great base for seeing the Fortress of Louisbourgh. I met some new friends there, then carried on our conversation at breakfast the next morning. They were staying at the other house, which has breakfast at the Inn. Try the key lime cheesecake at Foggy Hermit, and take a short walk to the waterfront boardwalk or drive out to the lighthouse.
