The Fortress of Louisbourg is right nearby, which makes this a great place to stay. The smaller campground is very well organized, with shady sites around the edge. Ours had full hookups and was almost perfectly level. The washrooms were VERY clean.
Our site, #1, was fairly level side to side, though we had to raise the front a bit on Jack's. There was some wifi near the office, and the center has pull-through lots. The campground was pretty quiet and a short drive from the Fort. The free showers were the nicest we've seen.
It's a small, clean campground with open but tight sites and full service. Free internet was available during our stay, and the showers were nice and free too. Very close to the fortress entrance, and works for both RVs and tents.
Small place, but a really good one to stay for a night or longer. The modern bathrooms and showers were in good shape. Thanks for hosting us so warmly and arranging the duck tape especially for us 🫡
Daryl made the stay well worth it, and the Louisbourg Fort is close by and a must see. Of the many RV sites we've visited on this 4000 km trip, this one stood out for cleanliness, sewer access, electricity, water, and excellent facilities. The staff were excellent too. Thanks, Daryl!
