The river setting and fire pits made Roseway my favorite stop during 10 days of traveling around NS, even with a different motel each night. The rate was very reasonable, too. Our cottage was clean and updated, with everything needed to cook or BBQ. The view was beautiful, and there’s another fire pit and hammocks down by the river. The beds had fresh, comfortable sheets and pillows, plus a weighted blanket if you like that. What an awesome place for a night or a week. Totally recommend!

Daniel was super friendly and helpful, and knew the area really well. We had a great time here: the hiking paths, river frontage, picnic tables, and grills make it such a fun place. Everything was very clean, and the kitchen was well stocked. The beds were cozy and comfortable, and the Wi-Fi was excellent. It’s pet friendly and family friendly, too, in a wonderful location. Definitely staying here again, can’t say enough good things!

The river view from our clean room was priceless, and we were close to all the area attractions. Check-in was easy, too. On Saturday evening, our BBQ gave us a small problem, so I called the office. They were there within 3 minutes and got it fixed. We had a fantastic weekend. Highly recommend staying with these guys if you’re in the area.

It was so quiet and peaceful here, and being pet friendly was a big plus for us. The hammock by the river was a lovely touch, and the fire pit and BBQ made evenings outside great. Roseway River Cottage was super cozy and clean, with everything we needed. The kitchen was especially well set up. A great place for a family getaway or to just chill out if you're in the area.

The setting is lovely, with trees all around, hammocks, chairs, fire pits, and the river running right by. You can get to town and the highway quickly, but the sound of the water makes it hard to tell. I’ve stayed at Roseway several times for work and have been in every cottage and the guesthouse. Every cottage has been cleaner than any other place I’ve stayed. The kitchen has everything you need to make a good meal, and there’s a nice little living area with a decent TV for a rainy day indoors. I’d definitely enjoy a weekend here outside of work.
