Those Bald Eagles on the property were a fun bonus, and they seemed happy to pose for photos. We also found the location handy for Burntcoat, Halifax, and the Pictou Ferry, right in central Nova Scotia. The room was comfortable, with a view of the changing Bay of Fundy tides. We appreciated the hosts' personal guidance as pilgrims new to the area, so far from home at 3,700 miles away. Breakfast was great, too, and gave us time to chat with the three other couples staying at the B&B.

Rusty is such a sweet, friendly mascot. The host was easy to talk with, and breakfast was filling and really good. I had the ground-floor queen room, which was large, with a roomy bathroom and a view of the bay and backyard. The Bay of Fundy is right on the shoreline here, with a beautiful, uninterrupted view. There’s no AC, but during my stay at around 28-29c, the bay breeze and ceiling fan were enough for me.

We’d never tried a bed and breakfast before, and sharing breakfast with the other guests was a lovely part of the stay. It was nice swapping vacation stories. The scrambled eggs were delicious, with fresh fruit and sausage, plus bottomless coffee. We stayed for just one night, the night before this review. 10/10, would recommend.

The Bay of Fundy and river views from our spacious room were amazing. Our host was friendly and helpful, and made us a delicious hot breakfast. We only spent one night and wished we had more time. We’d definitely stay again.

We spent four nights at Cresthaven by the Sea and tried all the plentiful, delicious breakfast offerings. Warren was relaxed, thoughtful, interesting, and interested in his guests, a great host and an all-around great guy. The old home is lovely and clearly cared for, in a magical spot on the tidal bore shore. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to come back on our next Nova Scotia trip.
