The room cost more than I expected. They charged extra for my son, but the desk hadn't explained that and kept quoting 140 before putting 180 on my card. Breakfast was listed on the website and business cards, but there wasn't any. With no other options, I had to accept it, though it didn't feel worth the price.

We were going through a really hard time almost a year ago, and this family-run place made our stay as comfortable as we could have hoped. I'm a single dad with a lot of dogs, and they kindly let us stay. One of my dogs ruined a blanket, but they said it was fine. Later, when we mentioned we'd moved into a new home without any bedding, they gave us an extra blanket and some food. We believe in karma, and this kind family has a lot of good coming to them. In our opinion, it beats any Airbnb. I'd recommend staying here if you're passing through.

We came back for another visit and stay because we loved it so much the first time. My husband brought me here for my birthday in March, and the prices and friendly service were great. The rooms have lovely views, and the location is central to all the amenities. It's quiet and relaxing, and if you need something, the owner gets it for you right away.

We found their sign while travelling from Barrie to Winnipeg after getting stuck out in what seemed like the middle of nowhere. It took another 35-45 minutes off the highway to reach the place, but it was worth the drive. The rooms were quiet and well kept, and you can tell the owners take pride in keeping things clean. The kids got a good rest, and I enjoyed staying there. We just continued our journey the next morning, so I'm not sure whether breakfast was offered.
