La Chouette A Mansonville

The location works well for skiing or spending time at the lake, and it’s close to stores. The rooms are cozy with private bathrooms, and there’s a microwave, bathtubs, and a living room guests can use. Check-in and checkout were easy, and they were very accommodating. I’d have given it five stars if it weren’t for the cost.

A quick drive gets you to Jay Peak, and the price was just right. The rooms are on the small side, but the owners are fantastic and breakfast was incredible. It was exactly the kind of stay we needed. We’ll be back.

The hosts were helpful, and the property is great. Our room was a good size, clean, and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, especially the homemade jams and marmalade. The rate was reasonable too.

We came during the autumn foliage season, when the mountains behind the place were beautifully colored. They looked lovely in the morning as well as in the evening. There wasn’t much around, which made for a very quiet stay. No fancy restaurants nearby, but the peaceful, idyllic time there was a wonderful experience.
