We left without staying, and I wasn't sorry because the place was a dump. I had booked through hotels.com for a hockey tournament and paid online, but the man at the desk insisted we owed another $104. hotels.com confirmed we'd paid in full and tried to reach the hotel, but he kept hanging up. When the agent asked me to show the confirmation again, the man refused and went outside. I told the agent I felt unsafe and unwelcome. He came back in and locked himself in the office. I said we were leaving, and the agent refunded us and gave us credit to move to a nearby hotel.

The room was adequately clean, and we noticed no other problems with it. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. But if you need to be near Downtown Vancouver for a cruise or other business, I wouldn't recommend this hotel. The drive takes 40 minutes without traffic. We arrived close to midnight and found the main door locked, with a sign saying to telephone for access. I called twice before anyone answered and came to the door. I admit I hadn't noticed the bell beside it. The woman checking us in said the front and lobby doors are always locked, even during the day, and gave me an understandable reason. Art Infiniti may be family run.

The staff's kindness was what made this place stand out and left me glad I'd supported their business. I showed up at 9pm without a reservation, but they found me a room at a reasonable rate. I stayed one night at the end of May 2025. It wasn't one of the recently renovated rooms, so it felt a bit old and had a faint cigarette smell, though it was perfectly serviceable for such a last-minute booking.

We left right away because we were traveling with kids. The room looked nothing like the photos: the doors wouldn't close, there was a cigarette smell, and the air conditioning didn't work. Worst of all, the toilet was dirty, with feces and cigarette butts in it. I wouldn't recommend this place at all.
