Zero-100 Motor Inn

We got a renovated room while they’re doing renovations, and it was beautiful. Breakfast was great, and the service was exceptional. The team did a great job. We’ll stay here again whenever we’re in Marathon.

The room was in pretty rough shape, though it was clean, and quiet too. The extra $25 dog fee felt like a lot after a week of traveling and paying $10 to $20 at other hotels. The location was good, service was very nice, and breakfast was good. For the room price, it was a decent stay overall. Cleanliness matters most to me, and they had that.

The whole hotel smelled awful, and our room was gross and dirty. The carpet was filthy, the sheets were dingy instead of white, and the bed looked like someone had just tossed it together. There was gross stuff dripping down the walls, the fridge was disgusting, and I wouldn’t put food in it. The bathroom was so dirty that after showering I felt like I needed another shower just to get clean. Curtains were half off the window, and the pillows were three little half pillows instead of full size ones. How are you supposed to sleep on that? We couldn’t understand the guy at the front desk because his English was so bad. We were booked there for us, but I wish the person who booked it had read the reviews first. They claimed the dirt and condition weren’t their fault because renovations were happening. What BS. It was their fault, and they were NOT renovating here. I couldn’t wait to leave. Find somewhere else. Update: the owner emailed me claiming I hadn’t even stayed there and asking me to remove my review. We did stay there, nice try. Where do you think the pictures came from? My email being different from my name doesn’t mean anything, lots of people have that. I can describe the inside, rooms, building, the judicial court, and the breakfast room, where they served gross frozen eggs among other things. The mine workers staying there at the same time even said not to eat breakfast because it was disgusting. The next morning, the girl at the desk didn’t even acknowledge us because she was busy on her phone. No, I won’t take down my accurate review.

A very affordable place for a night, and it was quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was okay, and with it included the price felt fair. You don’t often find a motel with this kind of service. I’d definitely stay again on a future trip. Highly recommended!
