We really enjoyed our stay at The Crystal Lodge and would definitely return. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout, and the rooms were comfortable and well appointed. The location in Whistler Village is amazing, with everything just steps away. After a long day of hiking, we made good use of the sauna. The hot tub was full whenever we tried it, which shows how popular it is.

My wife’s birthday stay at Crystal Lodge Whistler was made especially memorable by Rachel, manager, and her team: Lennart, Gemma, and Laura. We were delighted with our room, and their thoughtful service made the celebration feel special. From arrival, we felt welcomed and looked after. The team listened to what we needed, made sure we were comfortable, and went above and beyond. Their kindness, professionalism and attention to detail stood out. I especially appreciated the warmth and respect they showed guests, their positive attitude, and how readily they helped. The experience exceeded our expectations. I know it takes real effort to provide this kind of hospitality, and I wanted to thank them for it. Rachel, Lennart, Gemma and Laura, your service made our stay so enjoyable. We look forward to returning and highly recommend Crystal Lodge Whistler to anyone visiting Whistler.

We chose to stay here again for our wedding anniversary because we usually love it, and the renovated rooms were a nice improvement. But we were hoping for a restful night without the kids, and the smoke detectors began beeping at 4am. They should be changed routinely so this doesn’t happen to other guests. We didn’t call because we expected service to take forever. My husband climbed on the counters and was tall enough to hit the reset button. We told the front desk the next morning so they could replace the batteries before the next guests arrived. There was no acknowledgement or apology. The bathroom also had no towel hooks or bar, perhaps a small renovation oversight. The elevators were always busy, so we took the stairs throughout our stay. We love the location, but after this experience we may have to find somewhere else. The front desk staff seemed younger than at higher-end places like Westin.

The hotel’s central Whistler location is hard to beat, with great staff, thoughtfully furnished rooms, and dining and social spots right outside. Balam has Brazilian tapas and drinks. Definitely try the Pisco sour and margs. Karaoke at The Crystal is a must, with an old-world apres feel and a pool table. The Beacon has amazing staff, great people-watching, craft beer and burgers. If you can get a seat, it’s the ultimate local bar. Spaghetti Factory is a place for family feasting at 80s prices, and a secret pre-drink spot. Ssshh.

The ski valet is a nice touch after a long day on the slopes, and the complimentary hot chocolate and hot cider were thoughtful. For a weekend ski trip, this was a very solid hotel compared with other places I’ve stayed in Whistler. Being a few hundred meters from the ski lift made mornings easier. The only downside was that we couldn’t leave the car there after checkout, even though we were willing to pay.
