Travelodge Meadow Lake

The staff were amazing and the rooms were clean. I didn’t realize the non-smoking rooms were next to smoking rooms, and unfortunately mine smelled smoky. The hallway was really bad too, and it caused health issues. The booking information should say that the pool is closed and has been for quite a while, since it’s currently listed as available.

For a reasonable price, this place offers great quality. My room was clean, staff responded quickly, and breakfast was warm. I’d stay here again on another visit to Meadow Lake.

When I arrived, the room looked clean, smelled nice, and the hallways seemed normal. There was an issue with my room, which I’d rather not describe, but the way it was handled could have been much better. Nobody apologized. It got awkward enough that I felt I had to provide the customer service myself and say it was okay.

This was the dirtiest and most expensive hotel of my year on the road. There was hair in the sink and on the shower walls, and fire extinguishers were missing. They charged full price even though the pool was closed. Breakfast was self serve and more like what you’d expect at a gas station.
