We came to Medicine Hat to visit family and had a great stay at the Best Western. The front desk welcomed us warmly, and the fitness center was clean and well kept every day. The biggest help came when I dropped my phone, with my debit cards, credit card, and ID, into the elevator gap from the 5th floor. Julia, Katie, and Devin spent over an hour figuring out how to retrieve it. Devin arrived to assess things, stayed calm, and asked politely what had happened. His manner made me confident they’d find a solution. Julia and Katie set aside their own work to help brainstorm instead of ignoring the problem. The manager on duty, whose name I didn’t get, also helped with the elevator and was consistently polite and welcoming. The back of my phone was completely shattered, but the front survived and I still had all my cards, which would have been a huge hassle and expense to replace. Julia later checked in when we ran into her to ask how my phone was. I’m so grateful for the staff’s care and attention. I highly recommend the hotel. If anyone higher up at Best Western sees this, those four deserve a nice holiday bonus!

I’m looking forward to my fifth stay after four visits without ever being disappointed. The cleanliness is outstanding, from the rooms and amenities to the breakfast buffet, and I love the little touches. There’s a state of the art coffee machine with free black coffee, hot water, and hot chocolate, plus a complimentary hot and cold filtered water machine. Breakfast has everything you’d want in a hot buffet, with plenty of comfortable seating. Kopal at the front desk deserves a special shoutout. She’s made every stay better. The hotel is among the shopping and restaurants, and they decorated beautifully for Christmas.

The breakfast spread was top notch, and the hotel was clean, modern, and comfortable. Staff were professional and understanding, with the best customer service we’ve had in a long time. If you’re in Medicine Hat, stay at Premier, you won’t regret it. BW’s are usually our first choice, and this one really stands out.

The pool was clean and well maintained, but it can get really loud and crowded, especially when a youth sports team is staying. The room was comfortable and very clean, the front desk staff were great, and the hotel breakfast was one of the best I’ve had. It’s close to Walmart and a few restaurants, though being on the outskirts of town means fewer places are an easy walk away.

My room was spotless and quiet, with a really comfortable mattress. Don’t miss breakfast, they make fresh omelets right in front of you. The staff were friendly and professional, and the service impressed me. This BW is my first choice in Medicine Hat now.
