The stairs are definitely a challenge. Also, there’s no breakfast at all, free or otherwise. You have to go out onto the street and find something yourself. The snacks are just one granola bar and a cookie. We wouldn’t stay there again.

We stayed two nights while visiting family and had a fantastic time. The room was comfortable and clean, and my service dog was no problem. Michael gave us his cell number in case we needed anything. We’ll absolutely stay there again!

Michael was an excellent host. He even left cream and juice in the fridge, and the clean, comfortable suite had everything we needed. His cell number was there in case we wanted anything. Great location for shopping.

Check-in was easy, all handled by email, and there’s a safe, convenient parking spot included. The spacious suite was clean and just as advertised, right in the heart of this small town. The owner had left thoughtful extras, including complimentary tea and healthy snacks. I’d definitely stay at the Merrickville Guest Suites again.

It really felt like a home away from home. Michael had added lovely touches and made us feel comfortable. Everything is close by, and the town is great for shopping for local artisan goods. The Vanilla Bean cafe is just a few doors down too. Such a good weekend getaway. I’d love to come back in summer. 👍🏼
