The pool and hot tub were very well kept, and both the hotel and dining area were very clean. We loved our stay at the super eight hotel. Breakfast was included, with a nice variety, and the service was excellent. It was a flawless time away, and we’d definitely come back.

The owner was around all weekend, welcoming guests, shovelling snow, and doing whatever he could to help us enjoy our stay. The staff were amazing and made us feel welcome too. At breakfast they kept the buffet full and were attentive. Our room was clean and updated, and the beds were very comfortable. We had a great experience at the Super 8 Midland and will definitely return next time we’re in town.

The cable channels were labeled wrong, and the "smart TV" blocked streaming platforms and casting from other devices. Every other hotel I’ve stayed at let me stream from my own Netflix and other accounts. Since they’ve chosen to block that option, I feel they should lower the price by $100 per night.

After outpatient surgery at Georgian Bay General Hospital, my surgeon recommended that I stay overnight in Midland. The hotel was close to lots of stores, with a plaza right beside it, and check-in and checkout were seamless. The breakfast cafeteria staff were very friendly. My only complaint is the poor noise isolation. It seems to have a similar wooden structure to Canadian houses or townhouses, and we could hear footsteps and water noises from several rooms. If noise is a concern, a newer place built with concrete between rooms may be a better choice.

The breakfast staff were superb, and the service overall was awesome. The place was really nice and clean, with super friendly staff. We really enjoyed our two-day stay at Super 8. 👌
