Glory Guest House

The owners are really sweet, and our room was clean. My boyfriend and I booked for one night. The bathroom was spacious, and the bed was comfy too.

It's an old house, so the furnishings aren't modern, but that doesn't bother me. The room isn't big, though it's great if all you need is somewhere to sleep. My bed was great, and the bathroom was a nice size, neither huge nor small. Breakfast is very light, so if you like a big breakfast, you may want to eat out or use the full kitchen in the common area.

The neighborhood was quiet, and the breakfast suited us just right. It was an easy walk to the heart of the commercial district, a good location for my wife and me. The couple who own and run the place were professional, kind, and accommodating. They were once Canadian Oceanographers, and are very simple and humble people. Gloria showed us their two other properties along Wesley St., surrounded by beautiful, happy, welcoming white, pink, and red flowers. We were there the third week of June 2024. It was only a short three-day stay, but the couple made it perfect. Double thumbs up to them.

I was very disappointed after spending one night at this bed and breakfast. The room had dust, the bathroom was dirty, and the parking area was much too small. It wasn't the level of cleanliness or comfort I expected.
