We booked 17 rooms for our hockey team and were treated terribly. The owner threatened us, the staff were rude and unwilling to help, and we were charged twice the listed price. It felt like a total money grab. The hotel was dirty, with hallways that smelled like vomit. Despite being described as renovated, our rooms had holes in the walls, missing sections of flooring, and dirty sheets. The stair carpets were partly torn, too. Breakfast was awful, with stale bread and a broken refrigerator that left all the dairy warm. There were no proper locks on the room doors, and the outside key entry was broken, so anyone could have walked in off the street. We felt completely unsafe. Everything about the stay was terrible. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, even if it were the last place to stay in Mont Laurier. This place should be shut down.

We stayed here at the start and again at the end of our road trip, and I'll be back. The rooms have been renovated, are clean, and have comfortable bedding. Breakfast is great, and for hotels in this area it's a really good deal. The staff are nice, too, and will give you a good room price if you ask.

The outside doesn't give much away, but inside the rooms are first rate. This was one of the nicest rooms we've ever stayed in.

For $120 including tax in early September, the room was surprisingly spacious, with a TV, sofa and round table, and it was clean. It's dated in style, though, and you can see where costs were cut. Even the toilet paper was thin and rough. The room smell bothered me at first. I thought it was smoke, but it seemed more like stale air mixed with carpet and cleaning detergent. My economy room had no air vents, just one small window and AC. Antoine was accommodating and clearly experienced with customer service. When I raised the smell, he smoothly showed me three other rooms so I could choose one I was happy with. Service from making the reservation through checkout was excellent. Breakfast was included, and as someone who eats plant based, I was surprised by the choices: Quaker instant oats, fruit salad, two bagels with peanut butter, and orange juice. It was worth the price, but it's a long way from tourist spots like Mont-Tremblant if that's where you plan to spend the night.
