Champêtre Condos by Tremblant Sunstar

The room was clean when we arrived, and all the amenities inside worked well. We had no hot-water problems. Our room was 154-2, in a building at the top of a cliff, with a hot pool available. Parking was indoors, and you’ll need a car to get down to the village depending on which room you have. The place was quiet and comfortable, good for relaxing, enjoying nature, or skiing. It’s a country-style condo, nothing fancy, with a great view and often 🦌 deer nearby. Tremblant village is close. Fall is probably the best time to visit, with spectacular tree colors 🍁🍂. Weekdays cost less and are less crowded, so consider booking then. All in all, a good experience, thank you! :)

The accommodation suited our extended family of eight really well. It was spacious, with a good-sized kitchen, and the downstairs den gave the kids somewhere to watch a movie while the adults had some quiet time. The website description was accurate, and town was only a short walk, five minutes for adults and ten with kids. The shuttle usually wasn’t worth taking because it was so close. The main downside was cleanliness. It clearly hadn’t had a proper deep clean, with bits of food under the coffee table and a grimy tub. There’s no spa, and adding one would be a nice feature. We’d go back.

I’d seen some bad reviews before booking, but figured mistakes could happen. They apparently don’t feel obliged to keep their commitments, even when you booked months earlier. They may cancel your reservation just days before arrival, then ask you to cancel it yourself so they avoid penalties. The way they treat people is outrageous. I’ve never seen that level of unprofessionalism.

This doesn’t feel like a luxury condo. The rugs are stained, the living room furniture is falling apart, and things like the kettle, patio umbrella, and safe don’t work. It may have been nice at one time, but the duvet cover was visibly dirty when we arrived, and they didn’t give me a clean one.
