Courtyard Montreal Airport

I really liked the bathroom layout, though I’m not sure if that was because I had an accessible room. The bed was clean and comfortable, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. This is one of the nicest Courtyard by Marriott hotels I’ve stayed in. There wasn’t any parking available in the lot, but finding a spot on the street was easy. I’d definitely stay here again next time I’m in Montreal.

The calamari from the lobby bar tasted fine, but it was swimming in oil. A quick blot with a paper towel could have helped, especially for $21, which didn’t feel worth it. The bed wasn’t very comfortable either, and the bathroom supplies were disappointing. Single-ply toilet paper? Come on, Marriott, you can do better. I’ve been a Marriott Gold member for years and usually like Courtyard properties. At check-in, though, nobody offered a room upgrade, which was a little disappointing. Nothing was awful, but this stay felt average and below the Marriott standard I’m used to. It wasn’t my best Marriott stay.

The fire alarm went off at 1am and kept going for about 10 minutes. Also, despite looking close to the airport, the hotel is about a 15-minute drive away. We didn’t get time to try the gym, pool, or restaurant, and the hotel was full while we were there. Check-in at the front desk was good and quick. Nice hotel, and parking cost 18$.

The lobby restaurant was a highlight. The woman there gave us especially good service and took great care of us while we ordered. Staff were friendly and helpful, and I loved the hotel’s vibe and restaurants. The rooms were clean and spacious. Loved staying here.
