Days Inn by Wyndham Montreal East

We were four traveling from Vancouver, BC, and I'd booked one room with two double beds. My son hadn't paid attention to the bed size. At the desk, the staff pointed out what we'd booked and said two people might not sleep comfortably in a double bed. They upgraded us to a room with two queen beds at no extra cost, which I really appreciated after driving all day. We didn't want to end up sleeping uncomfortably because the beds were too small. The bathroom was spacious and clean too. I'd recommend this inn to family and friends. Thank you for the excellent service!

The location worked perfectly for my son's hockey tournaments, with all the arenas nearby. We also met other families staying there with children taking part in a chess tournament, which was fun. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the staff were really friendly. Special thanks to the manager for excellent, professional service. Great stay, and I'll definitely be back!

When we asked for two towels the next morning, we were told everything was in the laundry and there were none available until 3 PM, even though checkout was at 11 AM. That was on top of an already disappointing stay. We'd booked two queen beds, but got a very small room with two double beds and a tiny washroom that looked nothing like the online photos. The next morning, the toilet stopped flushing. Someone came to fix it but couldn't resolve it. We asked to change rooms, but the older woman at reception was dismissive and initially uncooperative. We were running late for our plans and had to argue repeatedly to get another room. Her behavior made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome, and honestly seemed discriminatory. Eventually we got a room that did match the photos and booking description. The misleading room descriptions, poor customer service, and lack of basic hotel management made this a very disappointing stay. I wouldn't recommend the hotel.

After our first night, we decided to come back for another. Sami was there to welcome us again and gave us another beautiful room. Paul helped with our needs as well, and Lina was helpful too. Sami and the team are doing an incredible job, and we'll definitely return on our next journey! Fariza at the restaurant was kind and helpful. The coffee and croissant were freshly made and delicious. The rooms were extremely clean too, thanks to housekeeping. We spent one night, then came back for another, and were so impressed by the service. Best regards, and thank you! 👏🫶❤️
