InterContinental Montreal by IHG

We appreciated the flexible timing at InterContinental Montreal. They let us check in at 10:00 a.m. and stay until 2:00 p.m. on departure day, which made the visit much more relaxed. The front desk team were consistently warm, attentive, and professional. One staff member even checked in with us that evening to make sure we were comfortable, and we were pleasantly surprised by a complimentary drink at the hotel bar. Breakfast the next morning was excellent, with high-quality offerings and clear attention to detail. It was a polished, memorable luxury stay, and we'd gladly return.

Marie checked us in at the InterContinental Montreal and was very helpful, explaining the hotel amenities right away. Housekeeping kept our room spotless, and the in-room dining from Osco Restaurant was excellent, as always. Everyone we met was warm and hospitable. The valet team were courteous too, though service can be a bit slower late at night. The location made it easy to visit the main tourist attractions, and there are great bars and restaurants nearby. We stayed for two days and had a wonderful experience we'll remember. Highly recommend!

The birthday surprise was such a lovely touch: room service brought cheesecake, sparkling and still water, and a signed card after we’d settled in. We’d booked just one night for my 35th, and the Intercontinental made it feel special. I’d asked about early check-in a couple of months ahead. They couldn’t promise it, but said we could use the pool at 2pm when dropping off our bags. In the end, our room was ready early, and we were upgraded to a King suite with a city view on the 25th floor. The place is gorgeous. The lobby had complimentary hot chocolate for the holidays, Bar Sarah B is one of our Montreal favourites, and Le Fabrique de Bagel is just down the stairs in the concourse with amazing bagels. We really loved the experience.

The location worked really well, close to the center, and we loved our stay. Our room was clean and beautiful, the service was amazing, and we were lucky to get a high floor with a great view. I also felt secure inside the hotel. After 6pm, entry is restricted to authorized guests. Just be aware that some nearby streets and parts of the city center have junkies and homeless people.
