Lofts du Vieux-Port

The staff made our first anniversary feel really special. They surprised us with treats and a handwritten note, such a thoughtful thing to do. The place has a lovely vibe, and their coffee recommendations made the experience even better. Thank you so much!

The room was spacious and clean, and a big thanks to the cleaning team for that. This was our second stay here and we had a great room again. Nicolas at the bar deserves a special shout-out too. What a joy to be served by him. People like that really make a hotel feel a level better. Really great.

We felt very well looked after here and would happily return to Montréal. The front desk team went out of their way more than once with suggestions and ideas for what to see in the city. The valet and bell hops were great too, even recommending an umbrella that we didn’t think we needed but ended up using. Our room was huge, spotless, and had a park view. The bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom was well appointed, and the exposed brick and wood beams gave the room a lot of charm. The hotel is right by the river park, with shops, bars, and restaurants along St. Paul street just behind it. It was an ideal spot for us, close enough to get around the city but far enough away to relax.

I booked this for my daughter’s 18th birthday and paid over $400 for a room that felt very dated. The windows and stone wall were the only charming parts. I’d paid for riverfront, but we were on the first floor and it felt more like a view of the bike path. We asked for an ice bucket for champagne and it never arrived, so my son had to go downstairs to get it. They kept our cake in their refrigerator, but when it came up there were no plates, cutlery, or champagne glasses. Very disappointing.
