Novotel Montreal Aeroport

I stayed a few nights in April 2026. The hotel is clean, modern, comfortable, and near the airport, with spacious, well-appointed rooms and good soundproofing. Parking is gated and feels secure, there’s a convenience shop on site, and it’s pet friendly. The staff were pleasant and competent, and the gentleman working restaurant and room service gave great service. The food itself was alright. There isn’t really anything within walking distance. The room’s climate control wasn’t working that well, and the pool was closed, apparently for renovation. The two queen beds were quite different from each other, with one having some slightly uncomfortable sagging spots.

The food is amazing, and the little convenience store in the lobby is pretty nice too. The rooms are just meh, empty with basic stuff and garbage TV options. There’s nothing nearby, and it’s a garbage area overall. It’s about 15 minutes from the airport because you have to take the long way around.

Nichol at the front desk made a huge difference when our trip turned stressful. Our original flight was cancelled ahead of time because of weather, so we scrambled to leave a day earlier. Between long airport lines, last minute rebooking, and traveling with our young twin daughters, everything was hectic. While I handled logistics, the car, and unloading our belongings, Nichol made sure the girls were safe, calm, and looked after. She also changed my reservation smoothly, without stress or complications. Thanks to her help, we got to the airport in time and caught our flight. I also appreciated the long term parking option, which made travel logistics much easier. When we returned, the room was outstanding, clean and comfortable, exactly what we needed after a long journey. I had an outstanding experience at the Novotel Montréal Airport. Nichol is a real asset to the hotel, and service like hers makes people come back. Highly recommend this location.

The front desk service is great, the bar is great, and the restaurant is pretty good. The location works well if you need to be near technoparc, and although there’s no turndown service, the rooms are clean. But after staying here a dozen times, I agree with people who say to lower your expectations from the listed “4 star” level. It may have been a 4 star hotel 20 years ago, but maintenance hasn’t kept up. About half the rooms have at least one problem: a bathroom fan that doesn’t work, a clogged sink, broken blinds, or a dysfunctional thermostat. Many rooms have had their carpets replaced with laminate, which makes them feel more like offices. The towels feel like they’re still the originals from 20 years ago. They could have a much better hotel if they spent money on maintenance.
